Hoffmann Group Supports Social Projects and Youth Sports with Donations Exceeding €72,000
The Hoffmann Group is once again distributing monetary donations this year to social organizations and youth sports at its locations. In keeping with a tradition spanning decades, the company allocates Christmas donations into two funds. The first is dedicated to the social sector, with a total of €60,000 reserved this year. Large organizations such as UNICEF, Welthungerhilfe, and Doctors Without Borders receive more than half of this amount, while several hundred to several thousand euros are allocated to local social initiatives and organizations. Die Unternehmensgruppe Hoffmann schüttet dieses Jahr wieder Geldspenden an sozial tätige Organisationen und für den Jugendsport an ihren Standorten aus. In jahrzehntelanger Tradition gibt die Unternehmensgruppe an Weihnachten Geldspenden in zwei Töpfe. Da ist zum einen der soziale Bereich, für den mittlerweile 60.000 Euro reserviert sind. Große Organisationen wie Unicef, Welthungerhilfe und Ärzte ohne Grenzen erhalten davon mehr als die Hälfte, für lokale soziale Initiativen und Organisationen werden einige hundert bis mehrere tausend Euro gegeben. Sportvereine mit Sitz an den Standorten einer der Firmen der Gruppe erhalten nach Anzahl ihrer Kinder und Jugendlichen eine Spende für den Jugendsport, in 2025 sind dies 12.250 Euro. HOFFMANN MINERAL honored for five biotope sites under Bavaria’s ‘Nature on Time’ program
HOFFMANN MINERAL was recognized with certificates by Bavarian Environment Minister Thorsten Glauber for five mining sites as part of the “Nature on Time” program – alongside fifty other resource extraction sites. For more than 60 years, the company has been engaged in the reclamation of opencast mines and, for about 30 years, in the promotion of rare amphibians. The company was also immediately involved when the “Nature on Time” program was launched nine years ago by the Bavarian resource associations ABBM and BIV, in collaboration with the LBV (State Association for Bird and Nature Conservation) and the Bavarian Ministry of the Environment. Seit mehr als 60 Jahren kümmert sich das Unternehmen um die Rekultivierung der Tagebaue und seit etwa 30 Jahren um die Förderung von seltenen Amphibien. Man war auch sofort dabei, als vor neun Jahren das Programm „Natur auf Zeit“ von den bayerischen Rohstoffverbänden ABBM und BIV zusammen mit dem LBV, dem Landesbund für Vogel- und Naturschutz, und dem Bayerischen Umweltministerium gestartet wurde. Das Projekt dient der Förderung und Erhaltung von Amphibienarten in Gruben und Steinbrüchen führt wirtschaftliche und naturschutzfachliche Interessen zusammen.
