Im Auftrag des dominikanischen Innenministeriums wurden die letzten Versorgungslücken im ländlichen Raum geschlossen und die landesweite Funkabdeckung erreicht. Das komplette TETRA-Netz umfasst nun mehr als 200 Basisstationen und wird von sämtlichen Polizei- und Rettungskräften des Landes sowie der 911-Notrufzentrale genutzt. HMF testet mehrzelliges LTE-Netzwerk für die Öffentliche Sicherheit in Ungarn
Das zentrale 700-MHz-LTE-Testysstem wurde im Stadtzentrum von Budapest aufgebaut und bestand aus einem LTE-Core den MCx-Anwendungsserver (MCS) und zwei SmartOne-Dispatchern. Zusätzlich wurden an weiteren drei Standorten jeweils eine Basisbandeinheit (BBU) und eine Remote Radio Unit (RRU) installiert. Die Testanwender haben Hytera Multi-mode Advanced Radios PTC760, PoC-Geräte vom Typ PNC550 sowie Bodycams VM780 eingesetzt. Bei dem mehrwöchigen Feldversuch mit Pro-M standen vor allem funktionale Tests im Fokus. Pro-M evaluiert derzeit LTE als Nachfolgetechnologie für ihr aktuelles TETRA-Netz. Zusätzlich hat das HMF-Team auch einen Drive Test durchgeführt, um die Qualität der Funkabdeckung, die Netzkapazität und die Gesamtleistung des Netzes genau unter die Lupe zu nehmen. HMF tests multi-cell LTE network for public safety in Hungary
The central 700 MHz LTE test system was set up in the city centre of Budapest and consisted of an LTE core, the MCx application server (MCS) and two SmartOne dispatchers. In addition, a baseband unit (BBU) and a remote radio unit (RRU) were installed at each of three other locations. The test users used Hytera PTC760 multi-mode advanced radios, PNC550 PoC devices and VM780 body cams. The field test with Pro-M, held over several weeks, focused primarily on functional testing.
