Prekäre Versorgungslage und extreme Kostensteigerungen bei Rohstoffen und Energie: Kunststoffverarbeiter unter Druck
Für die PVC-Branche ist auch zu Ende des Jahres 2021 kein Ende der engen Versorgungslage und der kontinuierlichen extremen Preissteigerungen abzusehen. Hinzu kommen weitere „Force Majeure“- Meldungen sowie eine eklatante Erhöhung der Strom- und Gaspreise. Dies hat schwerwiegende Folgen für die gesamte Wertschöpfungskette der Kunststoffindustrie. Auch im dritten Quartal des Jahres hat sich an der schwierigen Marktlage für Polyvinylchlorid und weitere wichtige Polymere nichts verändert: Nach wie vor ist die Verfügbarkeit des Rohstoffs eng und die immer noch andauernden extremen Preissteigerungen der Rohstoffe für die Verarbeiter von Kunststoffen zu spüren. There is no improvement of the situation in sight. The difficult supply situation of raw materials in the plastics industry is still present.
