RAI Production Center in Rome Upgrades with Lawo VSM and V__matrix for maximum flexibility and performance
Italy’s large public broadcaster, RAI – Radiotelevisione Italiana, recently upgraded its Broadcast Production Center in Rome with a new control and signal distribution network based on Lawo IP infrastructure solutions. For its different production areas, RAI opted for a V__matrix solution for guaranteed performance in a distributed production environment. The installation, in five production galleries and six studios, comprises V__matrix clusters and a VSM system for studio-related and overarching system control as well as signal distribution management. Italiens öffentlich-rechtlicher Sender RAI – Radiotelevisione Italiana hat unlängst das Produktionszentrum in Rom auf Basis von Lawo IP-Infrastrukturlösungen mit einem neuen Steuerungs- und Signalverteilungsnetzwerk aufgerüstet. Um die verschiedenen Produktionsbereiche abzudecken, entschied sich RAI für eine V__matrix-Lösung, die das Zusammenspiel in einer dezentralen Produktionsumgebung sicherstellt. Die Installation in fünf Produktionsregien und sechs Studios basiert auf mehreren V__matrix-Cluster und einem VSM-Setup für die studiorelevante und übergeordnete Systemsteuerung sowie für die Signalverwaltung. RTS upgrades OB fleet with Lawo AoIP-equipped van
Radio Television of Serbia (Radio Televizija Srbije, Radio Beograd, RTS), Serbia’s public broadcaster headquartered in the capital of Belgrade, recently added a Lawo AoIP-equipped OB van to its fleet. The compact, van-based “Small Audio OBV”, as RTS calls it, has been designed, built and equipped completely in Serbia by the executive team from TSE Beograd, system integrator for audio-, video-, multimedia-, light-, telecommunications and control technology.
