AI venture studio Merantix builds “AI Campus” in Berlin
With the "AI Campus" (https://www.aicampus.berlin/), Merantix (https://www.merantix.com/), the world’s first venture studio for artificial intelligence, creates a new hub for the German and European AI scene in the heart of Berlin. Opening this coming spring, founders, researchers, industry- and business experts will work together on new AI applications and start-ups on over 50,000 square feet of space. Since its launch in 2016, Merantix has already spun off five AI start-ups, with ten more to follow in the next four years. KI-Venture-Studio Merantix erweitert Management Board um Nicole Büttner (CEO Merantix Labs) und Janette Wiget (CFO)
Merantix, das weltweit erste Venture Studio für Künstliche Intelligenz mit Sitz in Berlin, erweitert das bisher aus den Gründern Adrian Locher (CEO) und Dr. Rasmus Rothe (CTO) bestehende Management Board: Nicole Büttner (CEO Merantix Labs) und Janette Wiget (CFO) gehören seit dem 1. September 2020 zum vergrößerten Leadership-Team. Anfang 2020 hat Merantix einen Venture-Capital-Fonds mit 25 Millionen Euro aufgesetzt, um in den kommenden vier Jahren – nach bereits fünf Ausgründungen – zehn neue KI-Startups aufzubauen.
