MEYER WERFT has achieved a breakthrough in its entry into the growing offshore converter platform business. The Papenburg shipyard is carrying out the majority of the steel work for converter platforms destined for the Dol-Win4 and BorWin4 offshore connections as well as BalWin1 and BalWin2. All connec-tions and platforms for green electricity are located in the North Sea. MEYER WERFT: Erster Auftrag im Offshore-Markt
Die MEYER WERFT hat einen Durchbruch beim Einstieg in das wachsende Geschäftsfeld für Offshore-Konverterplattformen erzielt. Die Papenburger Werft führt einen Großteil der Stahlarbeiten für Konverterplattformen durch, die für die Offshore-Verbindungen DolWin4 und BorWin4 sowie BalWin1 und BalWin2 bestimmt sind. Alle Verbindungen und Plattformen für grünen Strom liegen in der Nordsee. Die MEYER WERFT legt damit die technische Basis für die grüne Stromversorgung mit der Energie des Windes und somit für eine nachhaltige Zukunft. MEYER WERFT conveys cruise ship Carnival Jubilee
MEYER WERFT’s newest cruise ship, the Carnival Jubilee, is scheduled to leave Papenburg on Sunday 29 October 2023 and will be transferred to Eemshaven (Netherlands) on the river Ems. Arrival in Eemshaven is scheduled for early Monday morning, 30 October. After the technical and nautical trials, the Carnival Jubilee will set course for Eemshaven again. The Carnival Jubilee is the first cruise ship built in Germany for Carnival Cruise Line. Within the MEYER Group, it is also the third ship of the Excel class: the Finnish shipyard MEYER TURKU already delivered the Mardi Gras in 2020, followed by the Carnival Celebration in 2022. Das neueste Kreuzfahrtschiff der MEYER WERFT, die Carnival Jubilee,wird voraussichtlich am Montag, den 30. Oktober 2023 Papenburg verlassen und auf der Ems nach Eemshaven (Niederlande) überführt. Die Ankunft in Eemshaven ist für den frühen Dienstagmorgen, den 31. Oktober, geplant. Nach den technischen und nautischen Erprobungen wird die Carnival Jubilee wieder Kurs auf Eemshaven nehmen. 1760 Jahre Schiffbau-Erfahrung geehrt
Die MEYER Gruppe hat erneut zahlreiche Mitarbeitende geehrt, die auf eine langjährige Betriebszugehörigkeit im Jahr 2023 zurückblicken und ein Betriebsjubiläum feiern konnten. Im Forum Alte Werft in Papenburg, dem historischen Standort und der “Keimzelle” der MEYER WERFT, feierten 64 Mitarbeitende ihre 25- oder 40-jährigen Arbeitsjubiläen. Neun von ihnen sind bereits 40 Jahre für die MEYER Gruppe tätig, 54 schon seit 25 Jahren. So kommen die Jubilare auf eine Schiffbau-Erfahrung von 1760 Jahren! Construction of the new cruise ship for NYK Cruises, a company of the Japanese shipping group NYK, has now begun at MEYER WERFT with the symbolic steel cutting ceremony.
