Zwei völlig unterschiedliche Bedingungen für die Läufe auf fünf verschiedenen Straßenbelägen und ein Tag, der sich als Schlüssel zum Sieg erweisen wird: Der Samstag. So sieht die Rallye Schweden nach der Analyse der Pirelli Ingenieure aus. Freitag und Sonntag werden unter typisch nordischen Bedingungen gefahren, mit ziemlich konstantem Eis und Schnee, während am Samstag die Bedingungen gemischt sein werden, mit dem Risiko, dass sich reiner Schotter und eisige Bedingungen von den ersten Passagen an abwechseln. On a cool and cloudy day at Spa where track temperatures peaked at just 23 degrees, Red Bull driver Max Verstappen went fastest in FP2 on the P Zero Red soft tyre – but he won’t be in contention to start from pole, as his team has already confirmed that he will take some grid penalties on Sunday, along with a few other drivers.
