Allow me, Fester, Gomez, Little Tully, Lumpy, Flora, Morticia and Eddy … right, this lovely family of chairs is related to the notorious Addams Family. More than that, they stem from Transylvania. In an almost magical way, lyn fulfills the “form follows function” formula by being there and not there – as a mythical monument vanishing behind its profane mission to store things. Ausgehend von einer einfachen Konstruktion, kommt pilota in einem Sitz mit raffinierten, aber dennoch definierenden Linien zusammen. Der Sessel überzeugt mit einer bequemen, skulpturalen Sitzfläche. Er besteht aus zwei gewalzten, eingefärbten Metallblechen, deren hohler Körper von Sitzfläche und Rückenlehne geschlossen wird. Trotz der Einfachheit der Struktur entsteht mithilfe der großzügigen Formen ein kühnes und beeindruckendes Design. Das Gestell ist aus pulverbeschichtetem Metall in den Farben pearl beige, fango green, smoky grey, silver, white aluminium, beige red und white green gefertigt. The bent table series transports the ephemeral qualities of glass into the humble table. Transparency, texture and a simple form are combined to provide a visually light but incredibly sturdy base. Designer Sebastian Herkner has adapted the simple cast glass forms of his bent Lighting series into a set of striking tables. Sebastian Herkner’s distinctively tall, skinny side table series pina is inspired by the abstract turns and twists of the famous Pina Bausch dance theatre. The basic figurine with base, rod and top, all made of casted glass, shines in different combinations of green, corn yellow, aqua blue, light grey and transparent. Technical Information: The side tables are produced from casted glass with rods from brass and steel. Bubbles, streaks and other variations in size and color are part of the production process, and not defects of the design or production. Der pulpo-Firmensitz in Weil am Rhein ist neuer Dreh und Angelpunkt für Management, Kreativteam und Logistik. Das neue Gebäude besticht durch viel Beton, große Fensterfronten und zahlreiche Kunstwerke aus der Sammlung der Geschäftsführer. Der Künstler Samuel Treindl durchbricht 2020 mit der "Art Edition No. 1" die Grenze zwischen Kunst und Design und inszeniert die pulpo-Kollektion in "kreativer Zerstörung". Spielwiese und Designshop in Einem: Am 07.11.20 eröffnet mit dem "redroom" der erste Showroom von pulpo in Lörrach.
