    lyn – designed by Visser & Meijwaard

    Studio Visser & Meijwaard describe their conception of lyn as a “graphic interplay between glass and the metal frameworks”. The doorless and diverse series of cabinets and high boards are equivalent to the designers’ ambition to rethink established forms, like they did in their past as fashion designers. The reduction to the absolute essential form opens a free interplay of material and color. Depending on the lighting conditions, the viewer’s perspective and arrangement it casts the utmost of diverse highlights.     aspa designed by MUT Design

    First presented as part of Das Haus during imm 2020, the aspa table series by Spanish studio MUT Design presents the perfect platform in which to express our love of glass in all its forms. The series is an exercise in simple geometry – aspa translates to the intersection of straight planes. Each table brings together five glass panels converging at their centre. As each straight line is brought in, the coloured transparency of the glass form darkens to produce a layered aesthetic to the series.
