Kluge Kombination: RWE nimmt innovative Demonstrationsanlage für Agri-PV in Betrieb

Drei technische Lösungen integrieren Stromerzeugung und Landwirtschaft; Anlage steht auf Rekultivierungsfläche des Tagebaus Garzweiler Forschungsaktivitäten laufen im Frühjahr an; angepflanzt werden zum Beispiel Luzerne, Ackerbohnen und Himbeeren Forschungszentrum Jülich und Fraunhofer ISE bringen wissenschaftliche Expertise ein; Land NRW stellt Fördermittel bereit Unten Pflanzen, oben Solarstrom – nach nur rund fünf Monaten Bauzeit hat die Agri-Photovoltaikanlage (Agri-PV) von RWE im Rheinischen Revier erstmals Ökostrom ins Netz eingespeist. European Commission approves compensation for early phase-out of coal
Compensation of €2.6 billion will be paid out in installments by 2030 RWE has already shut down five power plant units and briquette production since 2020 RWE welcomes the decision by the European Commission published today in a press release to approve the compensation agreed upon three years ago for the early phase-out of its lignite-fired power plants in accordance with the German Act to Reduce and End Coal-Fired Power Generation passed in July 2020. Entschädigung in Höhe von 2,6 Milliarden Euro wird gestaffelt bis 2030 ausgezahlt RWE hat seit 2020 bereits fünf Kraftwerksblöcke sowie Brikettierung stillgelegt RWE begrüßt die heute in einer Pressemitteilung veröffentlichte Entscheidung der EU-Kommission, die bereits vor drei Jahren vereinbarte Entschädigung für den vorzeitigen Braunkohleausstieg gemäß des Kohleausstiegsgesetzes vom Juli 2020 freizugeben. Für die erheblichen Belastungen, die RWE nach dem Kohleausstiegsgesetz zu tragen hat, war eine Entschädigung von 2,6 Milliarden Euro festgelegt worden, die gestaffelt bis 2030 ausgezahlt wird. Die Entschädigung, die gemäß Kohleausstiegsgesetz und öffentlich-rechtlichem Vertrag zwischen der Bundesrepublik und dem Unternehmen geregelt war, stand bis heute unter dem Vorbehalt der beihilferechtlichen Prüfung durch die EU-Kommission.
