Sesotec eröffnet Filiale in Italien
Die Sesotec GmbH, Hersteller von Geräten und Systemen zur Fremdkörperdetektion, Materialsortierung und -analyse aus dem niederbayerischen Schönberg, hat ihre Präsenz in Europa durch die Gründung einer neuen Filiale in Italien erweitert. Mit dem neuen Büro ist Sesotec global nun an sieben Standorten präsent. Combatting the waste of plastic granulate
The plastics industry is faced with the challenge of producing their products in a manner that is at once circular and highly efficient. Increasing material efficiency is a crucial step towards achieving this goal. In addition to its negative impact on the environment, loss of good material also means productivity losses for plastics manufacturers and processors. Initiatives such as ”Zero Pellet Loss” aim to prevent the waste of plastic granulate. The project identifies three processing stages where the majority of granulate loss occurs: unloading in the silo area, bag and granulate container handling, and via conveying lines and equipment. Die Kunststoffindustrie steht vor der Herausforderung, zirkulär und gleichzeitig hocheffizient produzieren zu müssen. Um dieses Ziel zu erreichen ist die Steigerung der Materialeffizienz ein entscheidender Schritt. Denn Materialverlust bedeutet für Hersteller und Verarbeiter von Kunststoffen neben den Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt auch eine Verringerung der Profitabilität. Initiativen wie z.B. „Null Granulat Verlust“ zielen darauf ab, den Verlust von Kunststoffgranulaten zu verhindern und haben drei Prozessschritte identifiziert, bei denen ein Großteil der Granulatverluste auftritt: an der Entladestelle im Silobereich, beim Handhaben von Säcken und Granulatbehältern sowie an den Förderleitungen und Beförderungsanlagen. From October 12 to 16, 2021, the 27th Fakuma International Trade Fair for Plastics Processing took place in Friedrichshafen, Germany.
