Against the backdrop of a persistently challenging market environment, the Managing Board of SMA Solar Technology AG has decided to initiate a company-wide restructuring and transformation program aimed at increasing efficiency and strategic focusing. SMA uses innovative heat pumps to produce its climate-friendly energy supply
The new energy supply for two SMA buildings was completed just in time for the last heat wave. Modern heat pumps supply an office building, the electronics production area and the research and development area, replacing the outdated combination of a biogas combined heat and power plant and refrigeration unit. The reversible heat pumps use a natural refrigerant and can heat as well as cool. SMA provides Ukrainian hospital with solar battery storage solution
Round-the-clock electricity supply: Together with the RePower Ukraine Foundation, SMA has provided a PV solution to the Brovary Multidisciplinary Clinical Hospital in Ukraine. In future, the hospital will be able to cover around half of its energy consumption with self-produced electricity.
