Umbau der vorhandenen Zweistrang-Vorblockgießanlage mit einem Radius von zehn Metern Modernisierung zur Verbesserung der Produktqualität und Erweiterung der Produktpalette Einführung von neuem Gießquerschnitt (250 x 300 Millimeter) Mukand Ltd. hatte SMS group mit der Modernisierung der vorhandenen zweisträngigen Concast Vorblockgießanlage (Radius zehn Meter) am indischen Standort Kalwa in Thane, Maharashtra beauftragt. Das Projekt umfasste die Modernisierung einer der Gießmaschinen der ersten Generation des Werks. Dabei wurden neue Möglichkeiten hinsichtlich des Gießquerschnitts bei der Produktion von rostfreiem Betonstahl und Draht eingeführt.
