    IR optics for ultrafast systems

Ultrafast lasers in the infrared (IR) spectral range enable diverse applications ranging from material processing, soft X-ray generation, to remote sensing and medical use. Therefore, developments in these fields rely on the availability of broadband dispersive optics covering the IR part of the spectrum. With its know-how in custom ultrafast optics, UFI responds to the growing need of the market by offering a wide range of IR optics from 1.6 µm up to 4 µm. These enable precise phase control of diverse IR ultrafast systems, such as thulium- and holmium-based lasers with central wavelength at 2.1 µm, as well as a novel technology based on 2.4 μm chromium doped zinc…

    Light field synthesizer CAPELLA

CAPELLA is a light field synthesizer to generate unlimited ultrafast waveforms. It operates in the multi-watt range by spectrally splitting a coherent supercontinuum (400 to 1000 nm) into three adjacent delayable color channels and compressing each of them down to sub-10 fs to later recombine them with attosecond resolution. Thanks to its excellent thermal properties and actively controlled channels, CAPELLA’s generated waveforms have an exceptional interferometric stability of up to 50 mrad. All the above make CAPELLA an extremely advantageous tool in attosecond physics: a robust and compact device to not only control waveforms but also to achieve the shortest sub-cycle pulses available in the market (of sub-2 fs). Femtosecond enhancement cavity CALDERA for multi-kW average laser power

CALDERA is a passive resonator system which enhances laser light within a cavity up to multi-kW circulating average power. State-of-the-art femtosecond cavity optics and technology with a pulsed laser source enable high laser peak power at high pulse repetition rates. These parameters are ideal for the generation of high-order harmonics in a gas jet within the cavity. Thus, the setup allows for the combination of high photon energies in the extreme ultraviolet (XUV) spectral range (30 to 120eV) with high photon flux (up to 1013 photons per second) at multi-MHz pulse repetition rates. The unique characteristics of CALDERA make it perfectly suited for precision metrology XUV experiments in the time-…

High Power Stretched Hollow Core Fiber Pulse Compressor SAVANNA-HP

The SAVANNA-HP is the result of a collaboration between UltraFast Innovations and the Institute for Nanophotonics in Göttingen IFNANO. The SAVANNA allow for compression of laser pulses. The state of the art stretched fiber technology from IFNANO is capable of handling high power laser systems (avg. >100 W / peak 400 GW). The nearly ideal wave guiding reduces losses and allows accumulation of self-phase modulation over an interaction length of up to 8 m. The result is an unmatched compression unit for today’s state of the art lasers. Supercontinuum Cavity-Ringdown Reflectometer GLACIER-C

The GLACIER-C is a further development of our successful GLACIER reflectometer. The GLACIER allows for measurement of losses of optical coatings down to 5 ppm using the extreme sensitive cavity ring-down spectroscopy method. The new innovation of the GLACIER-C device is the employment of a super-continuum laser source in combination with a tunable monochromator. This allows for a freely selectable wavelength within 450 nm and 2000 nm. This offers an unprecedented flexibility as it is not limited to available diode laser wavelengths. Measure and characterize your tailored high-reflective/low-loss laser mirrors down to 5 ppm at your wavelength(range) of interest.
