Copenhagen to host WAN-IFRA’s World News Media Congress in 2024
The World Association of News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) has announced that the 75th World News Media Congress will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark from 27 to 29 May 2024, in partnership with Danske Medier, the Association of the Danish Media. The congress, which draws together media leaders, journalists and editors from around the world, will take place at the Tivoli Congress Center. Fourth edition of Table Stakes Europe features 24 teams
WAN-IFRA announces the 24 news publishers participating in the fourth edition of the Table Stakes Europe programme. They join a community of over 55 alumni publishers who have taken part in the previous editions of the performance-driven change initiative in Europe. Table Stakes Europe, a programme by WAN-IFRA and Google, will be led once again by Table Stakes architect Doug Smith, alongside a team of expert coaches including Valérie Arnould, Alexandra Borchardt, Pepe Cerezo, Martin Fröhlich, Lyndsey Jones and Stéphane Mayoux. Taiwan to host WAN-IFRA’s 2023 World News Media Congress
The 74th World News Media Congress, which draws together news media leaders from all over the world, will take place from 28 to 30 June 2023 in Taipei. WAN-IFRA will organise the 2023 event in partnership with United Daily News Group (UDN), one of Taiwan’s leading media and technology companies. The event will take place at Taipei’s Nangang Exhibition Center, in the newly opened Hall 2. WAN-IFRA is launching the fourth edition of Table Stakes Europe in partnership with the Google News Initiative. This performance-driven programme, focused on change management, is a collaboration with Table Stakes architect Doug Smith. The programme will once again welcome twenty-four European news enterprises participating in 2023. The announcement comes as the association is preparing to host more than 900 news media executives and editors at its annual World News Media Congress, which will be held in Zaragoza, Spain, from 28-30 September.
