It is with deep sadness that the World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI) writes to inform you of the passing of their Honorary Director, Jeroen Snijders Blok, on 3 August 2021. Jeroen (62) was a highly respected and driven leader in the Sporting Goods Industry with a long history of dedicating his time to the development and uniting of the Bicycle Industry. Prior to his passing, Jeroen had been awarded the title of Honorary Director of the WFSGI. WFSGI Successfully Holds Its First Ever Virtual General Assembly
The World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI) is pleased to announce that the first-ever virtual General Assembly proceeded smoothly. Due to the pandemic and the cancellation of the physical ISPO and the various travel restrictions around the world, the WFSGI Board of Directors took the decision to stage the 2021 WFSGI General Assembly virtually. The World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI), the world authoritative body for the sports industry, has joined the Advisory Council of the Centre for Sport and Human Rights (CSHR). WFSGI was formed in 1978 to promote the world’s sporting activities, to standardise the size of equipment and the rules of sport, to improve the standards of quality for sporting goods and to promote responsible and sustainable practices in sporting goods internationally.
