WIKA certified to the ISO 19443 nuclear standard
WIKA has been certified by TÜV SÜD in accordance with the new ISO 19443:2018 quality management standard for civil nuclear projects. The measurement technology manufacturer is thus the first company in Germany, and the fourth worldwide, to achieve this status. The audit was passed at the first attempt. So far, WIKA has been certified to KTA 1401. However, this standard was primarily designed for the German market. With its processes in accordance with ISO 19443, WIKA is now focusing on global project business in the civil nuclear power generation segment. The model PBV-FS with flange connection is suitable for controlling media flow, for the combination with pressure measuring instruments and as a connection between piping systems. Typ PBV-FS mit Flanschanschluss eignet sich zur Kontrolle eines Medienflusses, für die Adaption von Druckmessgeräten und als Verbindung zwischen Rohrleitungssystemen. Adapters and couplings for high-pressure applications
New accessories for high-pressure measurement: Under the model designation HPAC, WIKA now has a series of connection adapters and couplings in its portfolio that are designed for applications with pressures from 15,000 psi to 60,000 psi (1,034 bar to 4,136 bar). The HPAC products enable safe connection to valves, nipples and fittings, even in confined installation situations such as in test benches and control cabinets.
